As an artist, I'm interested in contemporary colour interplay, abstraction, and organic shapes and textures, such as the marine plants that float onto the shores of Beaumaris, Victoria. I also use photography to extract further compositions from my work – before or after the artwork is complete.

I often think about the 'interior experience' of design in personal and public spaces and how the composition of a room and the composition of the artwork within it affect our wellbeing.

In 2025, my work explores the theme 'Passages' – passages of time, passages of paint within a painting, flight paths across the country, emotional journeys, grief pathways, rights of passage and landscapes passing through and across. These are just some of the thoughts to explore. Only this passage, through time, with patience, will tell what comes from this theme. â€‹â€‹â€‹
